Thank you for your interest in becoming an approved carrier for Pepsi Logistics Company, Inc. Below are some of our key requirements for all companies to qualify as an approved carrier. All elements identified as 'required' must be completed for the qualification process to be completed. If your company is not compliant to one or several of the qualification criteria, you may return at another time to register once the non-compliant items are corrected.

Carrier onboarding will be required to meet the following Carrier Compliance Requirements:

  • Must have common and/or contract authority – broker authority is not permitted.
  • Minimum of 1 year authority, consecutively – subject to require more.
  • Minimum of 1 DOT inspection (must be visible/updated via FSCMA) – subject to require more.
  • Minimum of 1 tractor and 1 trailer owned and/or rented – subject to require more.
  • Minimum of no freight guard reports within past 6 months via carrier411 – subject to require more.
  • Safety Rating must be Satisfactory or None.
  • Signed Master Agreement for Motor Carrier Transportation.
  • All loads require driver tracking via FourKites or MacroPoint. Failure to provide tracking visibility will result in a minimum $75.00 fee per load.
  • Provide a valid Certificate of Insurance that meets the insurance minimum requirements as follows:
    • $100,000 Cargo Coverage
    • $1,000,000 Auto Coverage
    • $1,000,000 General Liability
  • **Certificates must be submitted from your insurance producer (agent).

    **If RMIS does not already have a copy of your certificate on file, we will request one for you from your insurance agent (producer).

    **Insurance expiration should be no less than 2 weeks out.

  • Financially stable

If you meet all carrier compliance requirements, please move forward with registration. The registration process will prompt you as follows:

  • Provide an active MC/MX number or DOT number to begin registration.
    • Intrastate carriers without a DOT# may provide an applicable state registration number. Intrastate Carriers must upload Intrastate Permit Document Image
  • Provide and validate the carrier contact information.
  • Provide and validate Pay to carrier information
    • Provide and validate factoring company and Letter of Assignment as applicable
  • Read and ACCEPT the "Master Agreement for Motor Carrier Transportation"
    • Carrier Contact must be authorized to enter and bind the carrier listed to Pepsi Logistics Company, Inc Master Agreement for Motor Carrier Transportation
  • Provide and validate Certificate of Insurance that meets the insurance minimum requirements listed under Carrier Compliance Requirements.
  • Submit an electronic W9. Canadian carriers can upload W8BEN.
  • Upload any additional carrier certifications such as SmartWay, MBE (Minority owned), WBE (Woman owned), etc. Pepsi Logistics Company, Inc. recognizes all additional certifications. For more information on certifications please reach out to us directly.
